Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskiy hinted yesterday, that the situation in the eastern region of Donbas, where Ukrainian troops are battling a massive Russian offensive, “remains extremely difficult.”
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Sunday (May 29) that the “liberation” of the Donbas was an “unconditional priority”.
During a daily televised speech, Zelenskiy also said Russia’s blockade of Ukrainian grain “destabilises the situation on a global scale”.
