Ondo: Over 120 Inmates Of Olokuta Correctional Centre Empowered

Over 120 inmates at the Olokuta Correctional Centre have been presented with certificates after having been trained for weeks in the making of paint and housing painting by a non-governmental organization.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the inmates, the Deputy Comptroller of corrections, medium Centre, Akure, Charles Oyewumi said the main aim of establishing custodial institutions across the world, including Nigeria, is to provide rehabilitation and correctional programs for those who violated laws of their society.

The Anchor of the Heritage initiative, Bidemi Oladipupo said their aim is to make the inmates useful and busy.
