Youths in Adamawa State have staged a demonstration in Yola, the state capital, to demand the immediate arrest and prosecution of EndSARS killers.
They made the demand while commemorating the #EndSARS first anniversary of the Lekki Toll Gate killings in Lagos State on the 20th of October 2020.
With the theme, “We Will Never Forget,” the Coordinator of the demonstration, Sudan Gompwel, said Nigerians were killed at the toll gate, not because they were against the nation, but because Nigerian leaders have greedy ambition.
They frowned at the saying that, “Youths Are the Leaders of Tomorrow.” To them, the same leaders ensure that tomorrow never comes.
The Coordinator of the demonstration also revealed that over 300 Nigerian youths are currently unjustly detained at the Kirikiri prison.
They also accused the Nigerian government of killing the unemployed youths, as a tactic of tackling the rate of unemployment.
