Over 600 Nigerians living in the diaspora with amazing success stories in different fields on endeavour have been compiled for celebration to mark Nigeria’s 60th Independence Anniversary on October 1.
The compendium titled ‘+600 Diaspora icons @60’ was put together by Nigerians in the Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM.
Receiving the compendium in Abuja, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Zubairu Dada, said the compilation will serve as an incentive for deserving Nigerians.
Dada encouraged the diasporans to regard this initiative as a starting point and continue to give all their best in all they do and bring back expertise to the development of their country, Nigeria.
Meanwhile, Chairman Nigerians in Diaspora apologized to diasporans whose names could not make it to the first compilation. She assured them of a second edition.
