Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has expressed shock as he sighted pupils of Dajin Primary School in Tafawabalewa Local Government, studying under a tree while on his way to Bogoro Local Government for an empowerment programme and ordered for the immediate construction of blocks of classrooms in two weeks for the pupils.
The Governor made this known while inspecting the unfavourable sight of the school that has been in that condition for years.
The community leader, Bala Mai Hoto Dajin, informed the Governor that the lack of educational infrastructure is discouraging the enrollment of rural dwellers’ children into school in the area, especially during raining season.
The Governor assured the readiness of his administration to rescue the high level of decay in the educational system across the state.
Dajin community is located along the Dawaki – Pankshin Road.
