Edo State government says it is determined to ensure that the third wave of COVID-19 is reduced to the barest minimum in the state through safety measures put in place to contain the spread of the virus.

This was disclosed at the State COVID-19 response meeting which was held in the Government House, Benin City.

The Permanent Secretary of the State Ministry of Health, Dr. Osamwonyi Irowa, noted that the restrictions to public places by those who do not see the need to be vaccinated against the deadly virus will be enforced to protect others.
