Following growing rates of insecurity in parts of Nasarawa State, the National Youths Service Corps, NYSC, says it will not post corps members to high-risk-prone areas.
The Nasarawa State Coordinator of the scheme, Abdullahi Jikamshi, said this in an interview with reporters, during the swearing-in ceremony of the Batch B Stream 2 corps members deployed to the state.
The corps members expressed delight for being posted to the state, and hope to contribute their quota to the positive development of the state.
So far, over 1, 000 corps members have been sworn in at the Nasarawa Camp for the 0ne-year compulsory youth service.
