Niger state governor condemns killing of persons in Plateau State

Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State has condemned the killings of innocent passengers in Plateau State recently.

Governor Bello noted in a statement that if such incidents are not curtailed and addressed, they may lead to a breach of the existing peace.

The Governor commended his Plateau counterpart, Simon Lalong, for his tireless efforts to ensure that normalcy is restored in all parts of the state.

He also applauded the security agencies in the state for their quick response to bring the situation under control.

Governor Bello charged them to work round the clock to apprehend those involved in the incident.

He commiserated with the government and the people of Plateau State over the killings and prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed.
