Nigeria high commission in London Shut over covid-19

Nigerian High Commission in London has been closed down for 10days. In a statement released by the mission, the Commission’s Head of Immigration Section and two other officials had contact with Covid-19 infected person, one of which is already tested positive for the virus and will be in isolation for 10 days.

The statement hinted that in line with the Covid-19 regulation in the U.K., the other members of staff of the Commission who were in contact with the affected persons will also be in isolation, leading to the closure of the Commission.

The mission, however, said it regrets any inconvenience the closure might cause and seeks the cooperation of the general public.
