Operation Safe Haven, OPSH, has described as false a media report, alleging that its troops did not respond or counter attacks in Plateau State and environs.
A statement by the military Information Officer of OPSH, Major lshaku Takwa said that the allegation is false and an attempt to malign the image of troops determined to restore peace in troubled areas of the State
Major Takwa noted that the OPSH is a joint military operation involving other security agencies, whose mandate is to bring lasting peace to the Plateau State and environs, stressing that troops have and will always counter attacks in the area.
The statement enjoined the public to cooperate with security agencies by providing credible information that would aid pro-active counter operation.
