Governors under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the northern region have accused the All Progressives Congress, APC, government of intimidating its members to forcefully join the ruling party.

The Governors who disclosed this after their meeting at the Taraba State Governor’s lodge in Asokoro, Abuja, were equally not pleased by its leadership style and resolved to do their best for their people.

The five northern governors of the PDP were hosted by their Taraba State counterpart, Darius Ishiaku, who expressed their dissatisfaction with the APC leadership noting that even the north has been shortchanged.

They insisted that the APC government is intimidating their members into leaving their party, a move the main opposition party’s governors want to be stopped.

The meeting was attended by the host Governor, Ishaku, and governors of Adamawa, Bauchi, Benue, and Sokoto State.
