Six students and two staff of the Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic have regained freedom weeks after their abduction.
The students and staff of the institution were abducted from the school on Thursday, June 11, 2021, and were taken to an undisclosed location.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Abdullahi Shehu, the victims were released after series of negotiations between the parents of the abductees and their abductors.
However, he could not confirm whether ransom was paid or not.
