The FCT Health and Human Services Secretariat has confirmed 91 suspected cases of Cholera outbreaks in different parts of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
The Acting Secretary of Health, Mohammed Kawu, who confirmed the development while addressing reporters in Abuja, explained that seven deaths have so far been recorded.
The Health and Human Services Secretariat said it is intensifying surveillance in the affected communities to contain the spread of the disease.
Residents of the FCT were advised to be vigilant and report any diarrheal disease to the nearest health facility or the Department of Public Health.
