Ahead of the forthcoming International Friendly Match between Nigeria and Mexico, two players of the Katsina United Football Club have been called up to the Super Eagle’s team, to participate in the game.
The two players are Abdulmutalif Sanusi and Nnoshiri Samuel.
The match is scheduled to take place in the United States of America on July 3, 2021. This was contained in a statement signed by the Media Officer of the team, Nasir Gide.
The statement also noted that the invitation for the two players was contained in a letter forwarded to the Management of Katsina United Football Club from the Nigeria Football Federation, signed by the Head of International Competitions, Achor Enebi, on behalf of the General Secretary.
The two players, according to the letter, were selected, following their outstanding performance for the Katsina United Football Club in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.
