Facebook has launched is own version of Clubhouse, called Live Audio rooms joining the likes of Discord, Spotify and Twitter. Microsoft’s LinkedIn is also reportedly working on a similar product.
The only-invite app will allow organizers create audio rooms with up to 50 speakers and as many listeners as possible across all its platforms .
Facebook disclosed that this is part of its drive to attract content creators and will partner with musicians, journalists, and athletes and doesn’t plan to take a cut of creator’s revenue till 2023.
