Rivers State counter sues FG's 'Stay of Execution' at Supreme Court

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, says President Muhammadu Buhari no longer has anything to offer Nigeria hinting that the President also admitted to this in one of the recent interviews he granted to one of the nation’s private television stations.

Speaking at the commission of a number of road projects in Port Harcourt, Governor Wike said that Nigerians have become tired of the false propaganda by the APC-led Federal Government as well as the daily occurrence of killings and kidnapping, banditry, and other violent crimes across the country.

The event was the commission of a number of road projects under his administration’s urban renewal programme, but Governor Wike had other issues bordering his mind.

The Rivers State Governor also defended claims made by the PDP Governors’ Forum on the non-remittance of funds by the NNPC to the Federation Account as well what he termed excessive borrowing by the Federal Government.

Governor Wike also condemned what he said is an attempt by the Federal Government to gag Nigerians through censorship of social media platforms.

While describing the PDP as the party to rescue Nigeria from the abyss it has found itself under the APC, Wike said it’s not the business of the PDP to offer solutions to the APC-led Federal Government.
