Ahead of the November 6, 2021, governorship election in Anambra state, the only aspirant of the Young Progressive Party, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah was adopted as the party’s candidate.
The senator who currently represents Anambra South in the Nigerian Senate was adopted after his screening by the party at its Secretariat in Abuja on Thursday.
A visibly elated Senator Ifeanyi Ubah told journalists that he believes he has what it takes to pilot the affairs of the state if elected governor of the state come November 6.
The Independent National Electoral Commission has fixed the Anambra state election for November 6, 2021.
