Israel’s newly elected Prime Minister, Naftali Bennet has in his inaugural cabinet meeting promised to heal the rift in Israel.
Bennet, a technology-savvy millionaire will now head a new government of leftist, centrist, and Arab legislators who formed with the sole purpose to unseat Benjamin Netanyahu.
Netanyahu, considered to be Israel’s most dominant politician, unable to form a government after a March 23 election, narrowly lost his seat after 12 years of power by a 60-59 vote of confidence poll in favor of Bennet.
He however remained unfazed and promised to return to power in his final parliamentary speech.
