Casualties of the latest attack in Sabon Line Community, in Kuru, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State has risen to 12 after gunmen invaded the community.
The attack, which took place at about 10:30 pm, Sunday night into the early hours of Monday left some people dead and many others severely injured.
Tension, confusion, and fear are the mood here in Sabon Line Community a few meters to the Famous Government Science School, Kuru.
The community was thrown into mourning following a late night attack by armed men.
Some of the victims who survived the attack and are receiving treatment in the hospital gave their own account of what happened.
The member representing the Constituency in the National Assembly who could barely hold his emotion described the attack as a systematic way of ethnic cleansing.
With the clouds of uncertainty and tension still eminent in the community over their safety, the people want the issue of unknown gunmen which has become a menace in the middle belt region of the country to be brought to an end.
