Some youths have come out in protest of bad governance and the growing insecurity in the nation in Osun and Ondo State capitals.
The group under the Coalition of Civil Society front converged at the Oke-Fai roundabout in Osun State.
Many Nigerians had planned to go out in a peaceful protest today to decry the worsening state of insecurity within the country amidst other ills in the country.
Some have opined that the recent clampdown in free speech on social media(Twitter) has done nothing but to accentuate the eroded democratic values the nation stands for.
As a result, many believe this day which is symbolic for what a proper democracy should stand for is the best time to clamour for a better country.
Some pro-government protesters have also been noticed in Abuja with heavy security detail patrolling the venues.
