Gombe State Government has released 100 million Naira healthcare counterpart funding and signed a service agreement with facilities.
The scheme took off in the state with the signing of a service level agreement between the GOHealth and Primary Healthcare Development Agency, GSPHCDA, and healthcare facilities on the basic healthcare provision fund.
The Executive Secretary’s of GOHealth and primary healthcare said this was the official commencement of the implementation of basic health development fund in the state.
According to the Executive Sectary GoHealth, the state government hopes to capture about 10 per cent of the entire population of the state in the next six months.
