Serena Williams out of French Open with 6-3, 7-5 loss to Rybakina

23 Grand Slam Singles Title winner, Serena Williams has crashed out of the French Open in a 6-3, 7-5 loss to Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan in a 77-minute match ushering Rybakina into her very first quarter-finals.

Serena’s goal to make it to the 24th Grand Slam has consistently evaded her since the long break she took after childbirth and many have suggested it’s time for her to quit. Serena has however remained unphased and continues to show up game after sequential losses.

She will have another opportunity to secure her prized 24thGrand Slam Title at the Wimbledon next month. Hopefully this time, she will make it count!
