Thousands of Brazilians have stepped out to demand the impeachment of President Jair Bolsonaro in the wake of the catastrophe by the Coronavirus under his administration.
Thousands have continued to die since the breakout, as a result protests have broken out in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janerio, and Brasilia calling for Bolsonarols impeachment and better access to vaccines.
Brazil is currently facing its third wave with 79,670 new cases and over 2000 deaths on Saturday alone. Almost half a million
people have died to the virus with at least 1 6 million infections.
Bolsonaro had during the nascent phases undermined the effects of the pandemic which health officials believe is largely responsible for the outbreak.
Medical practitioners are also crying from exhaustion and a nuse was quoted as saying with Bolsonaro in power, the virus would not be ending anytime soon.
Bolsonaro has just last week organized a rally advocating against restrictive measures, while his allies called for the overthrow of the Brazilian Supreme Court.
