UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson quietly hitched his fiancee and a former journalist, Carrie Symonds, at the Westminister Cathedral in a secret ceremony yesterday.
The news was confirmed this morning by 10 Downing Street and Boris has since resumed duty.
The wedding was so covert, some of Johnson’s cabinet members were not privy to the wedding plans and invitations were sent out at last minute.
The Prime Minister, who had been married twice in the past is now fully hitched to the mother of his son, Wildred Nicholas Johnson, who turned one in April this year.
The Catholic community has of course raised eyebrows considering this is the third time, however, the catholic church apparently allows for divorcees to marry provided the former was not officiated in a Roman Catholic Church.
Boris is facing an investigation over some misappropriation of funds, amongst other allegations.
