The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has again accused the All Progressives Congress, APC, of promoting acts of violence including the burning down of offices belonging to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, across states.
In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbodiyan, insisted the recent cases of fire involving INEC offices is geared towards frustrating the smooth conduct of the 2023 general elections.
The PDP also accused the APC-led Federal Government of failing to take decisive steps in protecting INEC facilities from assailants.
The party wants a proper investigation carried out on leaders of the APC and their supposed watchlist until security is fully restored.
