Burial proceedings for the late Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant-General Ibrahim Attahiru, and 6 other senior officers who lost their lives in an air crash in Kaduna will hold on Saturday, May 22, 2021.
The burial rites will commence at the National Mosque and National Christian Centre in Abuja by 12:30 pm respectively.

Consequently, the internment of the late Lieutenant-General Attahiru and the 6 other senior officers will take place at the National Military Cemetery, Abuja by 1 pm.
The Army Chief and other officers died when the NAF aircraft conveying them to Kaduna crashed near the Kaduna International Airport.
