Some unknown gunmen are demanding 100 million Naira ransom after abducting the mother of the Member Representing Agwara Constituency at the Niger State House of Assembly.
The gunmen had on Thursday stormed the Mago community in Agwara Local Government Area of Niger State and abducted 78-year-old Salamatu Ahmad.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, could not also be reached for comments on the development.
