Gov Udom reacts to death of job seeker, Iniobong Umoren

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, says the death of the job seeker, the late miss Iniobong Umore, is tragic.

Governor Emmanuel said this during a condolence visit to the family of the deceased in the Oruk Anam Local Government Area of the state.

Governor Emmanuel, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Emmanuel Ekuwem, visited the family of the deceased and expressed sadness at the tragic incident.

He stated that the government will do everything to support the family.

However, siblings of the deceased Ukeme and Ifiok want justice for their sister.

The public woke up on Sunday to the sad news of the death of a University of Uyo graduate, Inibong Umoren who had gone to keep a job interview appointment only to be kidnapped, raped, and killed by a job scammer, one Uduak Akpan who the Police said has confessed to the crime after he was arrested.
