Manchester United recorded an emphatic 6-2 victory over Roma in their UEFA Europa League first leg semifinal at Old Trafford.

The red devils who have built a reputation as comeback kings this season showed how deserving they are of that title, coming from behind to win against the Serie A side.

Barring any catastrophic capitulation, the red devils have their feet in the final, their first under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Edinson Cavani scored a brace for the red devils and Solskjaer had some good words for the Uruguayan.

Elsewhere in Spain, Arsenal were haunted by their old manager as Unai Emery’s Villareal defeated the gunners 2-1.

The result puts Arsenal in a dangerous situation as Villarreal have progressed from 15 of their 16 two-legged ties in major European competitions having to take the lead in the first leg but the gunners’ Manager, Mikel Arteta, believes the away goal gives his side a chance in the second leg.
