It is indeed a year of big wins for Flutterwave as the company has yet again shattered another glass ceiling for Africans. Flutterwave was chosen on TIME’s 2021 Pioneers list of 100 Most Influential Companies in the World.
The Technology firm, which just hit the Unicorn milestone in March, was listed alongside Apple, Twitter, Stripe and PayPal, Alibaba, and many other well-deserving companies globally.
According to a statement by TIME, the company was chosen for its efforts in recharging retailers after travel came to a screeching halt due to the pandemic, thus giving small businesses a lifeline.
