Dr. Andrew Warri Foubiri has demanded a retraction, the sum of 5 billion in Naira, and an apology from Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for defamation.
Dr Foubiri, the Managing Director of A.M Project Consultancy Limited, and the Medical Director of Ranez Medicals . The EFCC had initially declared him wanted for obtaining the sum of 125 million under false and issuing a dud cheque in a news publication
The EFCC reports that everything was done in accordance to best practices but
Dr Fuobiri claims the bidybacted in total disregard to the rule of kae despite the fact that the case was pending in court.
He further disclosed that the publication was not factual and was written with intent to damage his reputation. As a result, Dr. Fuobiri is demanding 5 billion in damages through his lawyers.
