The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has called for the sack of the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami.
This follows the heightening public concerns over the Minister’s alleged involvement with the Taliban and Al-Qaeda.
The PDP in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Kola Ologbodiyan, also expressed worry over allegations that the Minister may have compromised the National Identity Number registration exercise by giving room for the registration of possible invaders from outside Nigeria.
The party, therefore, charged the Department of State Service to without hesitation investigate the allegations especially given the increasing banditry and terrorist activities in the country.
