The Kogi State Government is set to move all motor parks in Lokoja, the state capital, to its newly completed Mega Transport Terminal.

The State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Kingsley Fanwo, who made this known to journalists when he led an inspection tour of the terminal ahead of Thursday’s relocation, said the development will help prevent traffic congestion and accidents and also enhance security in Lokoja and its suburbs.

The idea of the Lokoja Mega terminal was conceived during the Idris Wada-led administration in the state but completed to specification after the present government added other components to raise its standard.

The 500 vehicle capacity terminal has a departure lounge, fire station, clinic, CCTV cameras, and constant power supply with other essential facilities.
