The International Wing of the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport on Tuesday opened partially.
The Regional General Manager, Gambo Abdullahi, said the partial operation is to test run the facility.
Covid-19 pandemic is one of the reasons that stopped Malam Aminu Kano International Airport from international operations.
The representative of the Kano State Government, who is also the Deputy Director of Covid-19 Rapid Response Team, Dr. Sabitu Shannon, witnessed the arrival and departure of some of the flights.
Ibrahim Sule is one of the passengers who are ready to depart for Saudi Arabia. All arrangements have been made to ensure Covid-19 protocols are strictly adhered to.
