Myanmar Death Toll hits 300 as Military kills 90 in one day!

International Community has expressed condemnation over the killings of over 90 people in Myanmar on its 76th Armed Forces Remembrance Day. A local newspaper estimated the figure to be 114. The casualties ranging from adults to children were shot fatally and many were left injured.

Protests in Myanmar began on February 1 after the democratically elected leader, Aung San Suu Kyi was forcefully removed from power and detained. The Military led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing started a coup and has since been facing a longstanding protest by the citizens who are clamouring for a return to democracy.

The Military openly violent with the citizens openly celebrated the Armed Forces Day as the general disclosed in a live broadcast plan to hold elections and safeguard democracy.

Despite condemnation from many western countries, the Junta seem to have fund allies with Russia, whose Chief Defence Minister, Alexander Fomin attended the parade, China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Laos and Thailand.
