A High powered Federal Government delegation has visited Katsina State to pay a sympathy visit and get firsthand information on the Katsina Central Market fire that destroyed property worth billions of naira.
The delegation, led by the Minister of Justice and Attorney- General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, held a discussion with the market leaders.
Interior Minister, Rauf Aregbesola, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Sadiya Farouq, Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi, Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu were also part of the visiting team.

Guided on their visit were top state government officials which include the Secretary to the State Government, Mustapha Inuwa, Commissioner for Health, Yakubu Danja, Commissioner for Commerce, Trade and Investment, and Commissioner of Police, Sanusi Buba.
The delegation promised support from the Federal Government within the next two weeks.
