Avatar, YES; that Avatar, has reclaimed the top spot as the highest ever grossing movie (of all time, for emphasis). I know… you’re probably thinking didn’t Avengers: Endgame overtake Avatar and you’re still wondering how this can possibly be true.
Well, it turns out that China did a reissue of the movie and earned a staggering $12.3 in just two days of its relaunch in the Asian, country. This places Avatar’s global earnings at a total of $2.80 billion compared to Endgame’s $2.79 billion.
Call it a pandemic miracle or whatever but Avatar is back. Is it weird that I want to watch the movie again? Well here’s what Avatar’s Producer had to say:

We are hard at work on the next Avatar films and look forward to sharing the continuation of this epic story for years to come.”
