Following the arrival of the Covid-19 vaccine to Nigeria and the commencement of vaccination on some government officials, some Kano residents have also expressed their willingness to get vaccinated.

The residents urged the government to make the vaccination accessible for all, as they claimed they are not aware that there is an ongoing registration for interested persons.

The arrival of the Covid-19 vaccine to Nigeria has brought respite to many and has ended the long-awaited speculations surrounding the vaccine.

President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo were early recipients of the vaccine.

As Kano State awaits its portion of the vaccine, some residents of the state say they are ready to get vaccinated, since the Federal Ministry of Health has certified the vaccine.

They also want it available for every household.

Some of the residents claimed they are not aware of any registration portal for the vaccine and called for more public enlightenment and sensitization.

The residents also called on the Federal Government not to politicize the delivery of the vaccine to the various states.
