The Amalgamated Union of Foodstuffs and Cattle Dealers of Nigeria, AFUCDN, has lamented over alleged intimidation of members and union task force on major roads by security operatives.
Ahmed Alaramma, general secretary of the union, says the union had written to all the security agencies, including the Army as well as the Presidency, before commencing its strike action.
The union had earlier claimed that it lost over one hundred and fifty-one members during the recent Shasha crisis in Ibadan, Oyo State, saying that no form of harassment will deter its strike decision.
