Uzodinma gets mandate to recover funds, property stolen by public officers in the state

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has been mandated to recover all funds and property stolen by erstwhile public officers in the state.

The mandate was given by a cross-section of Imo stakeholders in Owerri, the state capital.

The event which took place at Eze Imo Palace, Owerri, attracted a multitude of Imo people, irrespective of party differences to brainstorm, on the way forward for the state.

Governor Uzodimma took the time to showcase his achievements so far.

The Governor said the recovered university from former Governor Rochas Okorocha will be renamed K.O Mbadiwe University.

Uzodimma also said that his government will use all legal means to recover every stolen property of the state.

The Governor, however, called for resolution and it was granted that the government should recover properties illegally confiscated by former public officeholders.
