The rumours can now be put to rest as Kim’s Legal representatives confirmed that the former ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ top star has finally filed for divorce after seven years of marriage.
Rumours had been making the rounds that the duo’s relationship wasn’t going so well for quite some time now and although the couple managed to keep it under wraps, the love between the two seems to have waxed cold.
The amicable divorce which will be Kim’s third and Kanye’s first will most likely not be messy as the two of them, both billionaires in their own rights signed a prenuptial. There will be some transfer of property though. Sources close to Kanye have revealed that although no statements have been made, the top celebrity seemed gloomy about it all.
It is not clear what fuelled the breakdown of their marriage, however, it is believed that Kanye’s outburst on social media on how he had been trying to divorce Kim on several occasion played a huge part in it all.
It seemed a difficult time for the couple at the time as they both got away to try to mend the relationship but from the looks of things, all did not go so well. It is public knowledge that Kanye West suffers mentally and had some outburst from time to time, some of which Kim herself had to apologize for in the past.
