Obinwanne Okeke will serve 10-year Jail Term for Fraud

Obinwanne Obi, popularly known as Invictus Obi has been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment in the United Stated after an $11 million fraud scheme got busted.

According to some court documents, Okeke, ripped several hundreds of victims off operating a group of companies called the Invictus Group based in Nigeria. He reportedly engaged in an email compromise scheme targeting Unatrac Holding Limited through Phishing and some others to the tune of $11 million.

Prior to his arrest, Okeke was listed as one of Forbes most successful persons under 30 years. Which drew some level of controversy on the due diligence carried out by Forbes before they arrived at that conclusion.

Okeke pleaded guilty to the two counts of computer and wire fraud.
