Over 4,000 beneficiaries of the Federal Government Grant For Rural Women have been urged to make optimal use of the money for their well being.
Minister For Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar- Farouq gave the advice while flagging off the disbursement of the grant to the deserving women in Minna, Niger State Capital.
The Minister said that Niger State has so far benefitted from different Federal Government interventions under her Ministry to the tune of over one billion, five hundred million Naira.
The beneficiaries before the disbursement were advised on how best to use the 20, 000 naira grant to improve their social and economic status in the Society.
The Spokesperson of the beneficiaries Racheal Iliya assured the Federal Government that the money will be well utilized for the purpose intended that is lifting the core needies out of poverty.
The Social Intervention Programme was initiated by the Federal Government with the aim of touching the lives of the deserving Nigerians across the Federation.
