The Commander of the Tincan Port Command, Sumaila Ethan has disclosed in a statement that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency confiscated 43.11kg worth of Cocaine at the Port.
According to him, two clearing agents who came to clear the cargo and the consignment were duly arraigned. The cargo which was shipped in from Brazil is one of many in recent times carrying such hard drugs into the country especially at airports.
Mr. Ethan commended the officers of the Port for their speedy action and in a statement expressed commitment to ridding the country of illicit drugs.
