Ortom criticizes FG’s handling of Insecurities in South-West

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, who broke the news of his status to journalists at the government house Makurdi blamed the Federal government the country’s numerous security challenges.

It is his first official outing since the festivities ended. Initially, he was on self-isolation which later turned mandatory when his COVID-19 result came back positive.

About a week later he has been certified free of the infectious diseases.

He was quick to catch up on the countries ailing insecurity issues. The chief executive equally banned all campaign activities by members of the State executive council and all government appointees.

Ortom also registered his displeasure with the presidency’s handling of recent happenings in the south-west and urged it to act fast to redeem itself and save the country from disintegration.
