FRSC, Stakeholders discuss likely consequences for indiscriminate Parking

The indiscriminate parking of vehicles on major highways and its adverse effects on human lives, infrastructure and vehicular movement has continued to be a source of worry to the government and other concerned Nigerians as discussed at a meeting in Ogun State, Nigeria.

At a stakeholder meeting in Ogere, Ogun state Monday, the consensus by the different speakers at the event was to make the existing trailer parks conducive for use.

The meeting was facilitated by the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC at the instance of Corps Marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi.

Major stakeholders including FRSC, officials of Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, police, truck drivers and owners, met in Ogere, Ogun state to discuss the way forward over the indiscriminate parking of articulated vehicles on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
