The Kaduna State government has organized a technical support seminar to train and empower youth, women, and persons with disabilities through its Agro-processing, processing productivity enhancement and livelihood improvement support project, APPEALS empowerment program across the state.

The program which is an initiative of the Kaduna state government and supported by the world bank aims to train and empower 10,000 beneficiaries including persons with disabilities and special needs in different aspects of agricultural production to boost their livelihood.

Speaking at the flag of the technical training implementation program held in Kaduna, the state Coordinator of APPEALS, Yahaya Aminu, represented by Reuben Kedison stated that the training, mentorship, and empowerment of youths and women between the ages of eighteen to forty years
