Ugandan Security forces have finally withdrawn from the house of Robert Kyagunlanyi, a.k.a Bobi Wine after a court order ruled that all security personnel vacate the premises.

Bobi Wine was held under house arrest by the government forces from the day of the election, January 14.

Despite the fact that he lost to Yoweri Museveni, the incumbent who will be running for the 6th time, the 38-year-old was held to ransom in his very home.

Based on reports from him, his employees were traumatised, beaten, and left to starve.

In addition, they were also not allowed access to their garden, however, the security agents claimed they were there to protect Wine and that food was delivered daily on a 24-hour-cycle, and his wife was sexually harassed.

The recently concluded election in Uganda was rife with so much violence, the President even shut down social media and the internet a few days leading to the election and on election day.
