The office of Guiseppe Conte, the Italian Prime Minister has announced his resignation. The report has it that Conte will head to the office of the President, Sergio Mattarella to tender his resignation for 9:00 AM today.
It is perceived that Conte recently lost control in recent weeks over the political turmoil closely tied with the coronavirus that sieged the nation. Although Conte won the majority votes both at the Senate and the lower house.
Conte served 16 months in the office of the Prime Minister but lost a step after Salvini’s League withdrew support from his government.
