Eleven deaths, 14 injured casualties have been identified after a fight broke out in the Baled-Hawo town of south-western Gedo yesterday.
The Vice President of Jubbaland disclosed to reporters that the regional forces positioned outside the town were attacked by Federal forces in the town.
While both the Jubbaland and Federal government are claiming victory, Somalia has accused Kenya of colluding with rebels to attack the federal forces in the town.
Kenya has yet to respond to the allegation, however, the Intergovernmental Authority on Development has sent a fact-finding mission to the border.
